Canva Pro
Canva is an amazing program that helps us design most of our visual product. Steve uses it almost daily in podcast production and we use it frequently in other areas of our ministry. There are other products that do what Canva does, but the thousands of graphics, font styles etc, available, in addition to the ease of use, makes this a must have for our business. The graphic above was created with Canva. However, the pro subscription provides their entire, immense library of options. Canva Pro is a yearly subscription - we are looking for a donation for 2024. ($119/year)
Headliner Video Platform
Headliner Video Platform allows us to take our podcast (audio only) and turn them into videos so that we can share them on more social media sites. Platforms like YouTube will not allow you to share podcasts, but if they are converted into a video format, then we can post them there, as well as other platforms like this. It will allow us to expand our reach so that more and more people will hear the Happy Message. Paying for Headliner will also allow us to caption our entire podcast, even those over an hour long. A valuable tool that helps us reach viewers with hearing loss. ($240/year)
Laptop for Video Production
When Steve travels, his laptop is his office away from home. His current laptop is 7 years old and showing wear and tear, and there are also much-needed program upgrades for the videos and podcasts he produces that his current laptop can’t handle. We are hoping to find something for around $1500. Any amount contributed to this need is a huge help.
Vehicle Repairs
When we are in town and traveling to live speaking engagements within driving distance, our car is our source of transportation. We have a vehicle that is 15 years old and in need of some vital fixes. Besides our yearly tune-up (which is always a stretch to our budget), we also need a new driver’s side seatbelt (the former owner had a dog that chewed up a lot of the seatbelt) and we were just informed that our tires will need to be replaced in the next few months. Currently we only NEED to replace two. All four are approximately $700.

We are still feeling the effects of the COVID shutdown and our income has never fully recovered the loss. The only way we survive is due to the generosity of our donors. As Steve doesn’t demand a pre-determined amount to speak at live events, we are looking for more people to stand with us in support.
